The company was established in 1991 and is jointly owned by Elta Systems Ltd. and Teliran 1993 Ltd. Elta is a subsidiary of Israel Aircraft Industries and is known for its radar and electronic warfare Systems. Elta employs 4,000 people and has annual sales in excess of $1 billion.

 

Elbatech is a strategic asset providing Elta and other IAI divisions with a low cost, high quality manufacturing, engineering and logistics capability for existing and future products.

 

Elbatech is ideally situated next to Israel’s Ashdod Port. The offices and production area occupy state-of-the art facilities, extending over 15,000 square meters and employing over 350 professional personnel.

 

Besides its engineering and production services, the company now offers an outsourced, fully traceable logistics management and storage service for electronic sub-assemblies and electronic components. Incorporated in the complex is an ultra-modern climate-controlled logistics building, dedicated to the task.

 

Elbatech’s electromechanical engineering and design function is carried out by the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Elipse Engineering.
